Deadpool Pokes Fun At Paul Rudd In New ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ Footage

In the ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ trailer, fans saw the dead body of a variant of the Ant-Man. Deadpool loves to break the 4th wall, and he has done it once again in new footage running in the theatres. Deadpool makes a joke about Paul Rudd finally aging after seeing Ant-Man’s dead body.

It has been a running gag that ‘Ant-Man’ star Paul Rudd doesn’t age. He is aging like the finest of the wine. Rudd is currently 55 years old but looks much younger. So this was kind of an obvious joke from the Merc With A Mouth.

In a theatre-exclusive trailer, Deadpool breaks the 4th wall and fans see a Paul Rudd reference. In the footage, Deadpool says, “Deadpool: Well, Paul Rudd finally did age.” It comes while both Wolverine and Deadpool go to The Void.

They meet Cassandra Nova, the twin sister of Professor X and presumably the main antagonist of the movie. It was clearly seen that Cassandra Nova had her base in the skull of Ant-Man’s dead body.

This 4th wall joke from Deadpool is expected to be only from many. Fans saw one at the end of the first trailer where DP tells Blind Al that Kevin Feige has prohibited the use of Coke in the movie.

‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ will feature Deadpool working with exploring the multiverse while working with the Time Variance Authority (TVA). Sharp-eyed fans have already caught characters who will make cameos in the movie.

However, in these characters, aside from Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man, fans didn’t see any member of the Avengers. The majority of fans believe Ant-Man won’t be the only Earth’s Mightiest Hero To appear in the movie.

In a shot where a guy was driving the Red Skull’s iconic car, if you zoom in on the hood, you will see an Iron Man hood ornament. Many believe that this car might be owned by a variant of Iron Man. It is possible that it might not be Robert Downey Jr playing the variant of Iron Man.

In addition to that, in the trailer, both Deadpool and Wolverine jump into a sorcerer portal. So it is a very possibility that Dr Strange, who is an affiliated member of the Avengers, might also appear in the movie. He has a fair share of experience of multiverse himself thanks to America Chavez.

Fans have to wait till Marvel releases another trailer, teaser or TV spot for the movie to check for the clues.
