First ‘Thunderbolts*’ Trailer Reveals Sentry’s Identity

Marvel Studios has unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for ‘Thunderbolts*’, one of the final films in Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This action-packed ensemble film brings together a group of villains and antiheroes for a mysterious mission.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the dynamic between the Thunderbolts team members, who are united by their shared past, in addition to their questionable motives. Moreover, Yelena Belova, the former Black Widow, takes center stage as the team’s leader.

Moreover, other members like Bucky Barnes, Ghost, and US Agent bring their unique skills and personalities to the table. One of the biggest surprises in the trailer is the revelation of Sentry‘s identity. While his powers are not explicitly shown, the presence of his emblem suggests that Lewis Pullman‘s character, Bob, is actually a powerful hero. 

The official synopsis for ‘Thunderbolts*’ provides further insight into the film’s plot: “Marvel Studios and a crew of indie veterans who sold out present ‘Thunderbolts,’ an irreverent team-up featuring depressed assassin Yelena Belova alongside the MCU’s least anticipated band of misfits.”

The ‘Thunderbolts*’ trailer makes it clear that the film will bring together a group of former Marvel antagonists for a mysterious mission. Led by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, this black ops team is a dark twist on the Avengers. Additionally, it starts after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Moreover, Valentina’s perspective on the Thunderbolts is clear: she views them as expendable assets. She has assembled this group of misfits and villains with a specific purpose. And she is willing to sacrifice them if necessary.

The Thunderbolts are likely to eventually realize Valentina’s true intentions. Moreover, the trailer suggests that there may be a growing sense of distrust and resentment among the team members. So, it is possible that they will eventually realize that they need to work together to survive and that Valentina’s interests may not align with their own.
