‘X-Men ‘97‘ has left a lot of fans nostalgic after its premiere. The animated series was created by Beau DeMayo and is the continuation of ‘X-Men: The Animated Series’. The previous 5 animated series aired from 1992-1997 and even back then had its audience in a chokehold.
‘X-Men ‘97‘ despite airing decades later continues from right where the animated series left. Moreover, One of the characters, Storm, wasn’t getting the portrayal she deserved in the previous episodes. However, in the latest venture, Storm got the pedestal she deserved.

Halle Berry’s Storm Finally Gets The Respect She Deserves
‘X-Men‘, despite not being a major part of the MCU, seeks to portray MCU’s take on the superheroes. The revival brought back Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Gambit, Cyclops, Beast, Magneto, and Nightcrawler. It also brought out iconic antagonists such as Mr. Sinister, The Sentiments, and more.
Storm, despite getting featured in a live-action movie and being portrayed by Halle Berry, was never given an opportunity to showcase her power. However, ‘X-Men ‘97‘ gave the character justice. In the episode, Storm shows her true powers showcasing her ability to control the climate.

Is Storm As Powerful As Thor?
Halle’s Storm, despite being powerful in the live-action movies she was in, was never given the opportunity to showcase her true powers. However, in X-Men ‘97, Storm showcased just how powerful she could be. From inducing thunderstorms to lighting rivaling she had everything in control.
However, despite her extent of power, Storm cannot be as powerful as Thor. This is because Thor is deemed as the ‘God of Thunder’. The God of Thunder possesses several powers besides climate control like Immortality, superhuman strength, healing, teleportation, etc.
