Chris Hemsworth may be one of Marvel’s biggest stars, but apparently even Thor has trouble negotiating with a teenager. The actor just announced that he had to make a very parent-like deal with his 13-year-old daughter India Rose to convince her to complete the filming of her scenes for ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘.
From Chris Hemsworth’s Daughter To Marvel’s Love
Chris revealed that it took a lot of negotiating to get his daughter through the production, and the final incentive was a new motorbike. It’s a pretty funny behind-the-scenes story, particularly because India isn’t just a visitor to the set as Hemsworth’s daughter. She has already been given her very own space in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

India Rose Hemsworth first appeared in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ as the young daughter of Gorr the God Butcher. This was a very personal role as Hemsworth’s real-life daughter was cast opposite him, creating a family connection that was part of the movie’s story.
Love Is Back For ‘Doomsday’
Love isn’t just a random child character, either. After Gorr’s death, Thor becomes responsible for raising her. She also receives some very powerful cosmic powers, creating the potential for her to play a pivotal role in the future of the MCU.

India’s casting was also a fun example of Marvel’s family-friendly approach to production. Hemsworth’s children appeared alongside him in the film, with India getting the most substantial role as Love.
Her return in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ makes the motorbike story even funnier. Apparently, saving the multiverse wasn’t quite enough motivation for a teenager who would rather be doing anything else. The film’s story is a wonderfully ordinary look behind one of Hollywood’s biggest productions.
On screen, Love can wield incredible power. Off screen, though, she’s still the same 13-year-old who apparently needed her dad’s help to sweeten the deal before taking to the job. A motorbike is one heck of a signing bonus, anyway.
