Ms. Marvel’s Character Will Deviate From the Comics
The miniseries ‘Ms. Marvel’ recently dropped on Disney+ and follows the life of Kamala Khan, the first Muslim superhero in the MCU. Khan, in the show, is a fangirl of Captain Marvel who is struggling to fit in before she gains her superpowers.
Now the makers are planning to work on the mutants of the X-Men franchise and the character of Kamala will also be a mutant. It’s a massive change that has freaked out Vellani since Kamala is inhuman in the comics. But the makers have decided to twist the tale and make her a mutant. This will surely shock all the ardent Marvel fans.
According to Insidethemagic.net, Vellani couldn’t believe this news. She said, “I freaked out right away. I emailed Kevin Feige, I was yelling at him over emails. I was honored, I was freaking out, that’s the biggest thing in the world.”
The post-credit scene of the Disney+ show hints at this possibility with an X-Men theme playing in the background. Suggesting that she is a mutant.
