Among the many mentions of Latveria, Victor von Doom’s ascendance to power, and his ongoing feud with Reed Richards, one thing that stood out: a drink named “Cynthia’s Blend.” To casual viewers, the name may not have much significance.

However, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ will be a big ensemble movie with lots of heroes, multiversal threats, and lots of crossover moments, of course. It may not be possible to cover all the chapters of Victor’s life.
Yet, even a few scenes set in the past could bring a lot to life in Robert Downey Jr.’s take on the character. If Marvel is looking to make Doctor Doom more than just the next big bad, it may be up to Cynthia von Doom to do so.
