Obsession’s Star Inde Navarrette‘s career seems to be really picking up steam, and her latest comments have only increased the anticipation for what might be next. The actress was recently seen meeting with two of Hollywood’s top directors, Michael Mann and Jake Schreier, who have worked on some of the biggest films in the industry.

Navarrette didn’t go so far as to explain what those meetings were about. However, fans have been filling in the blanks.

As Mann continues to work on ‘Heat 2’ and Schreier is helming Marvel Studios’ eagerly awaited X-Men reboot, rumours are already swirling that the actress might be in the running for a big franchise part.

Navarrette told Nylon that both Mann and Schreier were “dream directors,” and they had very important discussions. She also said she would be “more than willing to join the MCU if it ever happened to be her time“. That one comment has sparked a new round of fan speculation about Marvel’s X-Men reboot.

The movie will introduce a new generation of mutants to the MCU. While Marvel Studios hasn’t officially announced any casting, Navarrette’s name has been buzzing in fan forums due to her rising popularity.

Meanwhile, Michael Mann’s ‘Heat 2’ is one of the most anticipated films in Hollywood. The sequel had a stellar cast, and there are still a number of key roles that are said to be up for grabs. So, it won’t be surprising if Navarrette becomes a part of that film.

Actors and directors do meet each other all the time, particularly in the early development phase. There’s no guarantee that a conversation will result in a role, and Mann and Marvel Studios have not confirmed that Navarrette will be involved in any upcoming project.

Nevertheless, it’s hard not to see the timing. After the success of ‘Obsession’, Navarrette has emerged as one of the industry’s hottest young talents and is gaining attention from big filmmakers as casting for blockbusters is heating up.

Whether she ultimately joins ‘Heat 2’, the MCU’s X-Men, or takes on an entirely different project, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: Hollywood is paying attention. Until now, fans have had to wait for official announcements.

However, with two of the most prominent producers of upcoming movies involved, Navarrette’s next career move has become one of the more intriguing casting stories to watch.
