Controversial actor and comedian T.J. Miller, known for his role as Weasel in the first two ‘Deadpool’ films, has hinted at an interest in returning to the franchise if invited by Ryan Reynolds. Despite past public disputes with Reynolds, Miller recently revealed that their relationship is now on better terms.
This has sparked speculation about whether he could rejoin Ryan in a potential ‘Deadpool 4‘ film. However, there’s also speculation around whether this change of heart is due to ‘Deadpool And Wolverine‘s success.
T.J. Miller And Ryan Reynolds’ Turbulent Relationship
T.J. Miller’s relationship with Reynolds has been a rollercoaster. He first gained fame as Weasel, the witty bartender and confidant to Wade Wilson. However, Miller’s off-screen controversies, including an arrest for making a false bomb threat and allegations of sexual misconduct marred his career.
While Miller denied the allegations and the charges were dropped, the damage was already done. Moreover, in 2022, Miller made waves by stating on The Adam Carolla Show that he would “never” work with Reynolds again and calling the actors’s behavior “horrifically mean”

“Would I work with him again? No. I would not work with him again,” Miller declared. “I sorta wish him well because he’s so good at ‘Deadpool’, and I think it’s weird that he hates me,” he added. However, just weeks later, Miller indicated a change in tone.
On SiriusXM, he revealed Reynolds reached out via email, to talk it out. “It was really cool, he emailed me the next day,” Miller said. “It was a misunderstanding, so I emailed him back and now it’s, like, fine.”
This development reignited hope that the pair’s past tension could be set aside for future collaborations.
T.J. Miller Wants To Return As Weasel For ‘Deadpool 4’
Although there has been no official announcement of ‘Deadpool 4’, the success of ‘Deadpool And Wolverine’ makes it quite possible. Moreover, T.J. Miller, while promoting his recent projects on The Bonfire, reflected on the possibility of reprising his role if Reynolds extended an invitation.

“I think him asking me, I think he’s just been such a good friend right now that I think it would be really, I think that would be awesome,” Miller shared. The potential for Miller’s return is layered with both excitement and skepticism. Moreover, Miller also mentioned his restored friendship with director Michael Bay, whom he also previously criticized.
Despite initial doubts about collaborating with Bay again due to the director’s intense style, Miller expressed that they are now on good terms. “I’m friends with Michael Bay. I think during that experience with Transformers 4, I was not sure that I would work with him again,” he said, adding that he’d be open to new projects with the action movie Titan.
