The ‘Silicon Valley’ alumnus appeared on ‘The Adam Carolla Show’. On the show, Miller recounted his experience working with Ryan Reynolds which was a horrible one. As per his confession, he and Ryan got along well in the first film. However, the skyrocketing success of the 2016 film changed Reynolds. Though Miller appreciates him as a comic actor and roots for his Deadpool franchise, he would not work with him again.

He said, “Would I work with him again? No, I would not work with him again. But I’ve said that about Michael Bay, and now we’re friends, and I would work with him again. But I think Michael Bay is different.”

He narrated the incident, “We had a really weird moment on Deadpool where he said, ‘Let’s do one more take.’ And then as the character, he was horrifically mean to me as if I’m Weasel. So he was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition so that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.'”

T.J. recently appeared on SiriusXM’s ‘Jim Norton & Sam Roberts’ podcast. The co-host Jim Norton asked him about his recent account of Ryan Reynolds’ “horrifically mean” behavior. Miller updated that his ‘Deadpool’ actor reached out to him for reconciliation.

T.J. Miller cleared that it was a misunderstanding on the sets. To clear out the air, he said, “So, I emailed him back, and now it’s fine.” He also explained the reason why he did not sort it out with Reynolds on the said. The actor had problems as he was “not thinking about what the repercussions of saying this or that would be.”

Miller narrated the incident when he reached out, “It was very cool for him to say, ‘Hey, you know, I just heard on the show that you were upset about this.’ And I kind of said, ‘You know, I’m not,’ and then we sort of just hashed it out really quickly.”

T.J. held the media accountable for misconstruing the whole scenario and publicizing just the negative part. He said, “I didn’t think I had said anything that was that negative. I feel bad that it was picked up and that it was misconstrued. But no, it was the next day — he and I talked, and it’s fine.”
