The British actress who reprises her dual role of Alanna Mitsopolis and White Widow in ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,’ said it would be an “honor” to get the MCU call.
But this news is to be taken with a grain of salt. Marvel is yet to make any official announcements about the film’s casting. Every day, the internet is flooded with the news of more names being considered. Therefore, the best course of action is to wait until Kevin Feige gives a substantial update about the movie.

Marvel is not done with toying with its fandom. According to the latest rumors, British actress Vanessa Kirby is the new favorite for Susan Storm in the ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot movie. During the interview to promote ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,’ the British actress said, “It would be an honor” to join the MCU.
But joining MCU is a tall order. The shortlist of actresses for Susan Storm contains Lily James, Amanda Seyfried, Phillipa Soo, and Saoirse Ronan, Rachel Brosnahan. At one point, Jodie Comer was said to be the top favorite for Susan Storm. There have also been accounts of Marvel directly offering the role to Australian actress Margot Robbie.

Marvel continues to keep us in the dark about the casting news for ‘Fantastic Four’ reboot movie. There have been talks of Adam Driver emerging as the frontrunner for Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. Oscar-nominee Paul Mescal is the favorite for Johnny Storm. Daveed Diggs of ‘Hamilton’ fame is being looked at for playing Ben Grimm/The Thing.
‘Fantastic Four’ director Matt Shakman told ComicBook.com about the countless casting rumors, ” I love these characters. I love the chance that we have to bring them to the MCU and I really want to get it right and I know that everybody out there is really excited and feels passionate in the same way wanting to get it right. And so I encourage it. I think it’s great. But yeah, I have no early answers for anyone today about casting. Yeah, unfortunately, I have no comments to make.”
