‘Ms. Marvel ‘mini-series was released on Disney+ Hotstar. The series holds a 6.8 rating on IMDB and 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite its initial success fans were not impressed by the series. People claimed that it was MCU’s “cringiest” series. They further complained about the series being not thought out very well. But Vellani’s stint with Marvel will continue.
Iman Vellani Claims Wants To Be A Part Of X-Men
Iman Vellani, while talking to Comicbook.com revealed her plans to return to the MCU. “On the big screen? X-Men. I don’t think that’s a bad answer. I think the X-Men is so cool, and it really just marks her as a legitimate mutant and all the naysayers can no longer say nay. Because I still have my own X-Men characters that I look back to, and I think those books are so timeless in a way.”
She further added, “And I don’t know if people are actually looking to her as the literal new mutant and this is the new generation. But yeah, I don’t think that’s for me to say. I think the audience will take these two miniseries that I’ve done, and hopefully, they’re happy with the results. I have been assured. So that feels good, but there was no more assurance than that. They give me breadcrumbs, and I try and make a meal out of it.”

Fans React To The Idea Of Ms. Marvel Joining The X-Men
After Iman opened up about her choice of franchise to Join Marvel fans were not happy with it. A lot of people thought that this was a good idea and praised Iman for being passionate about her character. However, A lot of people also bombarded X with their opinion claiming that Iman should quit Marvel in general instead of joining another Marvel movie.
Despite Ms Marvel already being introduced to X-Men in the Comic fans think it won’t make sense for her to be introduced in the MCU. A person on X added, “I like her passion, but this doesn’t make sense when they changed her powers into a gauntlet. So doesn’t that mean she’s NOT a mutant in the MCU? She can just take the gauntlets off and not have those powers anymore right?”
