Marvel Studios have been secretly developing a new ensemble film after the end of Phase III. According to sources, this new project is Thunderbolts and pre-production is in full swing at the studio. Mark Bagley and Kurt Busiek created ‘The Thunderbolts’ for the Marvel comics.
Thunderbolts is a team of villain-turned-heroes that was put together after the superheroes vanish from the Earth. Now, with the rapid pace of development, Marvel has reportedly locked the director and writer for the much-awaited ensemble.

Marvel Has Chosen ‘The Paper Towns’ Director Jake Schreier To Direct ‘Thunderbolts’
Marvel Studios has gained momentum in the development of the antagonists-turned-protagonists film ‘Thunderbolts.‘ As reported, the Robot & Frank fame Jake Schreier has been roped to helm the film. Eric Pearson, who inked the script of ‘Black Widow’ will be developing the script for the new project. And as usual, Kevin Feige will be in the Producer’s shoes. Thunderbolts are the disguised superheroes. After the Avengers vanish from the Earth, Baron Zemo, who is out for vengeance, assembles a team.
The team includes members of the Masters Of Evil. Due to limited information, we may not know which former member of Masters Of Evil will have an appearance. Nevertheless, characters like The Abomination, US Agent, and Baron Zemo have a higher probability. The original General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross may also have a role. Since Zemo will avenge the Avengers for killing his family, we may also witness the Avengers like Hawkeye, Captain America, etc., in the new film.
