Until now Kang the Conqueror was considered the most powerful, dreaded, and strongest villain of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But when the credits scene of ‘Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania’ rolled up, the fans witnessed many variants of Kangs seated in a coliseum-like structure with only three variants heading it.
Apparently, the leader of the Council of Kangs appeared to be Immortus- a blue skin variant of Kang. Following him is Rama-Tut, who is an ancient Egyptian Pharoah. He is considered to be one of the first variants of Kang after Nathaniel Richards first-time crashed his spaceship in Egypt. The third version appears to be Scarlet Centurion- a technologically advanced variant of Kang.

Who Is Scarlet Centurion?
According to the Marvel comic, Scarlet Centurion is a variant of Kang after the Rama-Tut (the first variant) and before Kang the Conqueror. Scarlet Centurion was introduced after Rama-Tut met Doomsday and created an affinity towards armed despots. Once revealed that he is the potential descendent of Doomsday, Scarlet Centurion laid out his plans on destroying the Avengers. But Scarlet Centurion did not reveal his identity for a long time.
Kang created his own son named Marcus to help him conquer planet Earth. He passed on his Scarlet Centurion identity to Marcus before they were wiped out. Centurion was also featured in phase fifth’s first movie ‘Antman and the Wasp: Quantumania’ seen in a cyborg costume. The credit scene makes it known that Centurion seemed to have a bitter rivalry with Kang as Rama-Tut notices he must be angry because he did not get to kill Kang himself.

Is Scarlet Centurion The Most Powerful Variant Of Kang?
Although Scarlet Centurion was one of the three leaders of the Council of Kangs, sadly he is not the most powerful variant. The title of the most powerful Kang variant is tied between Immortus and Doom the Annihilating Conqueror. The latter has the combined power of Iron Lad, Doctor Doom, and Annihilus. Along with Doctor Doom’s sorcery, Kang’s ability to Time-travel and the comic powers of Annihilius makes Doom the Annihilating Conqueror one of the most powerful and dangerous variants of Kang.
Apart from Doom the Annihilating Conqueror, Immortus is also one of the strongest variants as he formulated a plan to manipulate Kang into forming a council by eliminating all the weak variants. It is believed that Immortus is the incarnation of He Who Remains, but ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ established him as the most powerful Kang variant. He appears in his signature headpiece and like Kang, he does not have a blue face or a blue mask. It is established that this powerful variant will be leading the Kang Dynasty against the mighty Avengers.
