Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ brought him together with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s versions of Spider-Man to face off the villains from their movies. As much as the fans loved watching the iconic Spiderman mee being recreated on screen, it was heartbreaking to watch the entire world forgetting Peter Parker including MJ, played by Zendaya.
Other than Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Tom Holland’s Spiderman is the only one being a part of Marvel’s solo-hero tetralogy. There have been rumors that both Tom Holland and Zendaya will be reprising their roles as Peter Parker and MJ for ‘Spider-Man 4’. However, Zendaya may play a more minor role in ‘Spider-Man 4’ as MJ no longer remembers Spider-Man.

Is Zendaya Reprising Her Role As MJ A Good Idea?
After the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, the world including his close friends no longer remembers Peter Parker. Hence as a result he will have to restart his life all alone, without any assistance from his family or friends. However Marvel Updates recently tweeted on X, the social media platform that Zendaya will be reprising her role as MJ in ‘Spider-Man 4’ alongside Tom Holland.
Unlike the comics, MCU’s Peter Parker has stayed a one-man woman since the very beginning with Tom Holland and Zendaya as the pivotal characters. Since the photos of Holland and Zendaya as a couple hit the tabloids, many of their fans have shipped them to the extreme, that they deny even watching them with anyone else even on-screen.

Unfortunately, few Marvel fans believe that Zendaya is not the real MJ. But it doesn’t seem like they will be getting what they want. It has been confirmed that Zendaya will be back because she has become a staple of MCU and honestly has even earned the position.

‘Spider-Man 4’ Will Be The Right Premise To Introduce Peter-Parker’s Other Romantic Interests
Since ‘Spider-Man: Far from Home’, MJ has been Peter Parker’s constant romantic interest. However, in the comics, there are multiple timelines in which the fans are introduced to Peter Parker’s other love interests including Gwen Stacy and Black Cat.
Many fans have been impatient to watch Black Cat on the big screen combating alongside as well as against Spider-Man. And as a potential love interest, it would be an exciting sight to witness, especially with Holland’s Spider-Man, as he much leans into the naivety and adorability of Peter Parker.
Although it might be too late to introduce Gwen Stacy. In fact, her death was the third major one in Peter’s life after Uncle Ben and Captain Stacy. But introducing Gwen into ‘Spider-Man 4’ would secure her as an endgame for Tom Holland’s Peter, which however shouldn’t be the case because MJ will always be Spider-Man’s true partner.
