In a recent interview with ComicBook, the Star Wars actor revealed her openness to joining either the MCU or the DC Universe, sparking excitement among fans eager to see her take on a superhero role. “Look, I’m open to loads of stuff,” Ridley shared.
“I work with this amazing second AD called Matthew Sharp, and he texts me cause he’s doing Avengers, and he goes, ‘If they call.’ So I was like, ‘If they call, absolutely,’” she added. Ridley is clearly interested, and given her past experience leading one of the biggest sci-fi franchises in history, she’d be a perfect fit.
Whether she joins the MCU or DCU remains to be seen. However, either way, she’s got the talent, the action-hero chops, and the fanbase to make it a huge success. Moreover, as James Gunn reboots DC Studios with Gods and Monsters and Marvel pushes toward the end of The Multiverse Saga, now is the perfect time for a fresh face to shake things up.
