Argylle is Henry Cavill’s upcoming star-studded film, placing the actor in the role of a detective stuck amidst a world-trotting adventure. The fans can’t keep quiet, as Arglle’s theatrical release is out now.
When is Henry Cavill’s starter Argylle releasing?
The Apple TV+ original moving starring Henry Cavill in the lead has finally scored a 2024 theatrical release date- February 2. The film is rumored to be star-studded including, John Cena, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, and the man who cannot get enough of the franchise, Samuel L. Jackson. Additionally, ‘Argylle’ will also feature Grammy winner Dua Lipa marking the second film after debuting in Barbie. The project was initially announced in June 2021, but Apple TV+ swooped in, locking in a $200 million deal, hoping to begin a franchise.
Directed by Matthew Vaughn, ‘Argylle’ is based on a unpublish novel written by Ellie Conway. Henry Cavill plays the role of a world-class spy suffering from amnesia who is tricked into believing that he is a best-selling novelist. However, Vaughn is soo sure of the material that he hopes to expand the film adaptation into its own franchise. Vaughn is no stranger to the adaptation of spy adventures, the director admitted that casting Cavill as the lead was because of his influence by the actor’s own love for the James Bond franchise.

Apple TV+ Teamed Up With Universal and Upcoming Releases
First, ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ and ‘Napoleon’, Apple TV’s third original film ‘Argylle’ will get a wide theatrical release before streaming on Apple TV. Like the other two projects, Henry Cavill’s spy thriller has its own theatrical distribution partner- Universal Pictures.
‘Killers of the Flower Moon‘ directed by Martin Scorsese will be released by Paramount Pictures and Napoleon by Ridley Scott will be distributed by Sony. However both the films will hit the theatres this fall and Argylle will release on February 2, 2024. Although the streaming premiere dates are not announced for all three films.
