Disney spent almost $270 million in making ‘The Marvels’, which has now become Marvel’s worst opening till now, with a collection of only $110 million globally in the first weekend. According to Deadline, it suffers the worst MCU second-week drop plummeting a staggering 78.1%. According to the reports Disney has lost over $300 million on this film, making it the worst MCU as well as Disney box office collapse ever.
Per Deadline, ‘The Marvels’ box office is continuing its trend of breaking negative MCU records in the third week. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the movie is estimated to earn a 5-day total of $8.8 million, placing it at No. 6 on the box office chart below ‘Trolls Band Together’, ‘Wish’, ‘Napoleon’, and ‘The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.’

Road Ahead For Marvel Cinematic Universe
The film’s cast was largely unavailable to promote the movie, as well as its release coincided with the end of the 2023 actors strike.
