Surprisingly, it was Margot Robbie who convinced the ‘La La Land’ actor to be a part of this project. During an interview with the New York Post, the ‘Suicide Squad’ actress revealed that she bribed Gosling to be a part of Greta Gerwig’s project. Robbie said, “I just bribed him really. That’s the basis of our relationship. Just come do the Barbie movie, I’ll buy you a present every day.”

Did Margot Robbie Keep Her Promise?
If not for Margot Robbie, Ken would have been played by some other actor, and the fans would have missed Ryan Gosling’s iconic performance. During an interview, Robbie revealed that she promised to do anything for Ryan Gosling if he joined the cast of ‘Barbie’. She would get him a present every single day of production until the very last day of filming.
However, the promises were kept. Ryan Gosling revealed that the actress got him a present every single day wrapped in a pink wrapping and hid it for Gosling to find. Gosling said that he felt unsustainable, expecting her to stop at some point. He also revealed that he got a Puka shell necklace once.
