Is Paul Dano and Seth Rogen’s Film ‘Dumb Money’ Based On A Book?

Down with the rich! The stranger-than-fiction saga of the GameStop has found a cinematic adaptation starring Paul Dano and Seth Rogen. ‘Dumb Money’ is the ultimate David vs. Goliath story of the finance bros, brought down to a plummeting end no thanks to the greed of the rich.

‘Dumb Money’ is directed by Australian director Craig Gillespie. His most known directorial credits are Oscar-nominated films ‘I, Tonya’ and ‘Cruella.’ The film derives its screenplay material from Ben Mezrich’s best-selling non-fiction book, ‘ The Antisocial Network: The GameStop Short Squeeze and the Ragtag Group of Amateur Traders That Brought Wall Street to Its Knees .’
