From wands to other collectibles, to date, everything excites the Potterheads who desperately wait for their Hogwarts acceptance letter. However, Miriam Margolypes aka Professor Pomona Sprout believes otherwise.

Miriam Margolypes Thinks Fans Should Be Over ‘Harry Potter’ Now
The actress played the role of Professor Pomona Sprout, head of the Hufflepuff house who also taught herbology at Hogwarts. She appeared in ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’ and in ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part two’.
During an interview with New Zealand’s 1News, Miriam Margolyes addressed the concerns over the the franchise’s adult fan base. She said, “They should be over that by now. You know, I mean, it was 25 years ago, and it’s for children. I think it’s for children.”

Miriam Margolypes Believes The Wizarding World Is No Charles Dickens
Miriam Margolypes accepts that ‘Harry Potter’ is wonderful and she will always be very grateful for it. However, this is not the first time the actress shared negative sentiments about the magical story. While speaking with Vogue UK, she also admitted that the franchise “doesn’t mean as much to me as it does to the fans.”
She continued saying, “For me, Harry Potter wasn’t important. I was very glad I got the part and I enjoyed being in it and meeting all the people, but it’s not Charles Dickens.”
It seems as though the magic is dead for Margolyes, but Warner Bros. Discovery thinks otherwise as it is reviving J.K. Rowling’s story in the form of a TV series that will be distributed in seven seasons each covering a book.
