The ‘Jurassic World‘ franchise is one of the most successful franchises in the sci-fi category. The Jurassic World movies are part of the Jurassic Park franchise created by Michael Crichton. They revolve around the concept of genetically engineered dinosaurs and their interactions with humans. Jennifer Lawrence Was The First Choice For ‘Jurassic World 4’
It was revealed that Universal Pictures wanted the Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence as their lead for ‘Jurassic World 4’. However, Lawrence had no interest in joining the movie franchise unsurprisingly. She had been open about not wanting to join long-running franchises. Even previously, she had devoted several years to big franchises such as The ‘X-Men’ and ‘Hunger Games’.
Despite being the second choice Scarlett is no less and has been dominating the Hollywood scene. So, her being the face of the upcoming film has fans even more excited. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johansson is going forward with the offer that was made.

When Will ‘Jurassic World 4’ Release?
The ‘Jurassic World 4’ is scheduled to release on July 2, 2025. So, to meet the scheduling Universal has taken the path of pre-producing the animatronics and visual effects and then writing a script in accordance with it. Moreover, With such a hectic deadline the production for the movie has already begun with the scriptwriter David Koepp and director Gareth Edwards who replaced David Leitch.
Edwards in an interview talked about his love for the franchise. He said, “I was about to take a break and I started writing my next idea for a film and this is the only movie that would make me drop everything like a stone and dive right in. I love Jurassic Park, I think the first movie is a cinematic masterpiece…so this opportunity is like a dream to me. And to work with Frank Marshall and Universal and David Koepp, who’s writing the script, I think they’re all legends. So I’m just very excited.”
