The former NFL star Michael Oher’s recently filed a legal petition against the Tuohy family, claiming that they never adopted him and instead put him under a long-term conservatorship while earning money off his likeness. Amidst these claims, Sandra Bullock who portrayed Leigh Anne Tuohy and won the Best Actress Oscar in 2010, is being ridiculously dragged between ‘The Blind Side’ controversy.

How Did Leigh Anne And Sean Tuohy Respond to Michael Oher’s Allegations?
On 14 August 2023, Michael Oher threw allegations against the Tuohy family claiming that they engaged him in deception by having him sign conservatorship documents at the age of 18, under the premise that it was essentially equivalent to adoption.
The former NFL player’s legal representatives also stated that the Tuohy family went on to benefit from the falsehood that he had been adopted, deliberately misrepresenting themselves as his “adoptive” parents to the wider audience. Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy responded to Michael Oher’s allegations that they profited to his detriment, labeling them as “outlandish, hurtful, and absurd” and part of a “shakedown” by Michael Oher.
