    “Role Of A Lifetime”: Jack Black Thinks ‘Kung Fu Panda’ Has Been A Blessing, Reveals His Favorite Co-Star In Hollywood

    Do you have a favorite work buddy? Well if you do, you’re not special because so do our beloved singer and actor Jack Black. However fancy their workplace might be, guess everyone needs to have a comforting co-worker. 

    The 54-year-old star started out as the lead vocalist for the Grammy-winning band, ‘Tenacious D’ which led to his debut role in the 1992 movie ‘Bob Roberts’. But the comedic gem had his big break in 2000 with the movie called ‘High Fidelity’. Since then, the singer-actor-comedian has been humoring the audience with is comedic prowess.

    In a recent exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, the ‘Jumanji’ star was asked who has been the most delightful personality to work with so far. The ‘Polka King’ actor finally spilled the beans on his favorite beauty to work with. Black reminded everyone of 2006’s timeless romantic comedy, The Holiday.’ 

    This Cameron Diaz and June Law starrer was also the movie Jack got to work with his favorite co-star. He answers the interviewer’s question by saying, Kate Winslet and I’ll tell you why. She was my favorite co-star I’ve ever had because when you look in her eyes, she was like really present.” He even teased the fans a little by adding, “I feel like if you look into my eyes, you just see a shadow of a robot.”

    As the spotlight lingered on Black, attention shifted from his favorite scene buddy Winslet to his upcoming movie. The Grammy-winning vocalist and an exceptional actor merged the talents by givingKung Fu Panda 4s Po his voice. At the premiere of Kung Fu Panda’s fourth installment which is set to be out in theatres on March 8, the actor expressed his excitement.  

    He started by calling it, “the role of a lifetime,” as the ‘King Kong’ star acknowledged, “Playing Po the Dragon Warrior has been a blessing.” When asked if this gratitude will feature him in any upcoming installments, the singer had a very humble answer. “You know, I always feel like every adventure is my last and that’s — I think that’s my sweet spot for my frame of mind because then I put my whole self into it.” He ended the little chat with, “Always rock like there’s no tomorrow.”
