But amid all the excitement, her most cherished moments are having her boyfriend, actor Tom Holland, right next to her while working in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Indeed, working with him on films has become much more comfortable for the 29-year-old actress. Here’s what she had to say about it.

The superstar couple met on one of the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ productions a decade ago. And since then, they grew up on those gargantuan Marvel sets. Despite a few public displays of affection in 2021, their romance stayed private until a 2025 appearance at the Golden Globe Awards ceremony. Zendaya was seen wearing a large diamond ring, which led many to wonder whether the couple had taken their relationship to the next level.

Most recently, her excitement over starring in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ shows how much they love each other. In an interview with Elle, Zendaya talked about her work with Tom Holland on the upcoming film. “Spider-Man was a dream; I get to go to work every day with my best friend, the person that I love,” she said, adding, “We bring our dogs to work; it’s like a family affair.”

Their chemistry, nurtured over many years on set, transformed the blockbuster franchise into something more personal. Zendaya stated, “We grew up on those movies…It’s like coming home.” These days, the pair is raising three of their dogs after recently adopting the third. Zendaya weighed in on saying, “Logistically, it wasn’t probably the smartest idea,” but “emotionally, it was.”

Meanwhile, Holland embodies Telemachus, the son of Odysseus.
