Doja Cat has carved her niche as a pop star with the ‘Planet Her’ LP and won a Grammy Award for it. However, she is now on the path to making her name as a rapper and dissociating herself from the pop image she garnered. Recently, she introduced her alter-ego via the latest album, ‘Scarlet.’ The second single, ‘Paint The Town Red’, charted atop the Billboard 100 charts.
While making some good music, Doja Cat has been feuding with her fans since before the release of ‘Scarlet’. The fanbase of Doja is called ‘Kittenz’. The artist herself approved the name but started arguing with the fans, asking them to get a job. Along with that, she also allegedly attended some racist and anti-Semitic chat rooms, and the ‘Kiss Me More’ singer is also dating the problematic Jeffrey Cyrus. To top it all, she donned a t-shirt with a Neo-Nazi and alt-right comedian’s picture on it. This has infuriated netizens.
