BTS stated in June 2022 that they were suspending their group activities temporarily in order to concentrate on their solo projects This will be Jin’s first solo endeavor. However, the band came back together at the Busan concert on Saturday night, drawing thousands of fans to the open-air event.
Jin previously contributed to the mainstream solo song “Super Tuna” and the Korean drama Jirisan’s OST, ‘Yours.’ His most recent effort, a variety show called No Prepare with Youngji, sparked rumors that Jin’s solo album would be released sooner than anticipated.
What Fans Can Expect From The Record By Jin?
Since Jin has always referred to himself as “the moon” and the ARMY as his “earth,” the title of the single “Astronaut” appears symbolic.
Fans have already offered a wide range of speculations about the single and their interpretations of what it might represent. Many have come to the conclusion that it’s Jin’s way of bidding a little farewell before he goes out to serve in the military, but it’s also a pledge that he will always come to ARMY.
Jin And His Mystery Collaborator
Jin announced that he has a surprise collaborator for his new single. The ‘Epiphany‘ artist is collaborating with none other than Coldplay on his new single. The formal announcement that Jin and Coldplay collaborated on the songwriting for Jin’s next solo single ‘The Astronaut’ came from Big Hit Music on October 20.
When BTS covered Coldplay’s popular song ‘Fix You,’ it was the first time we saw them interact. Many people would recall when BTS and Coldplay collaborated on their popular song, ‘My Universe.’
Chris Martin traveled all the way to South Korea to record the song with the Bangtan Boys, and he had a great time doing it. Later, the ‘Yellow‘ singer gave Jin his guitar as well.
BTS To Take Time Off For Military Service
The confirmation puts an end to years of discussion about whether K-pop artists may be excused from military service. Every man in South Korea between the ages of 18 and 28 who is physically fit is required to serve two years. The seven BTS members were permitted to postpone beginning their military obligations until they were 30. Jin is currently 29 and is the oldest.
The band’s management said on Monday that he will start getting ready in the following month. All seven of the group’s members, the youngest among whom is 24 years old, likewise intend to complete their duty, it said. The group could be given an exception so they can continue playing, some lawmakers had suggested. Olympic medalists, other accomplished athletes, classical musicians, and dancers have all received exemptions from this rule.
