Many assumed that it was written for Matty Healey, as some of the lyrics suggest it was about a fleeting romance that ended way too quickly. Swift herself explained the song in an analysis and said, “I was comparing the idea of being love bombed—where someone, like, rocks your world and dazzles you and then just kind of abandons you—as an alien abduction where you were abducted by aliens.”
“Like, this girl was abducted by aliens but she wanted to stay with them,” the singer continued. “And then when they drop her off back in her hometown, she’s like, ‘Wait no, where are you going? I liked it there. It was weird but it was cool. Come back.'”

Gigi Hadid Turns Heads With Her Floral Ensemble At 2024 Met Gala
This year, Gigi Hadid donned Thom Browne’s dress for the Met Gala. Hadid donned an off-the-shoulder white corset dress with pronounced hips that was layered under a white silk coat with black duchesse satin trim, and adorned with three-dimensional yellow blooms that hung around her hips.
The complete ensemble, which was meticulously crafted by a team of over 70 people over the course of 13,500 hours, will be preserved in Browne’s permanent archive after the Met Gala.
Talking about the fit, Hadid said, “In my final fitting, I finally got to see the 3D pieces and just hold them. Just one rose on my outfit in itself is a work of art, and the amount of hours and people’s work that went into this dress is just incredible.”
“It’s an honor for me to be able to present this for them, and I always walk the carpet with that in mind. I’m very proud of their work,” she added.
