After a long debate for exemption, it is official that the K-pop band, BTS members will serve their military duty. The army was vying for exemption from the service for the group, which is possible, but BigHit Music released an official statement that they will serve their military time starting with Jin.
In South Korea, it is mandatory for males in the country under the age of 30 to serve in the military. All the males who are physically sound must serve their duty for 18-21 months. The reason is that there must be enough manpower in the country from the sudden attack of the neighboring country North Korea. Now, will the military service lead to its disbandment?
