Kanye West and Taylor Swift‘s rivalry has been one of the most controversial and talked about moments in pop culture. The antisemitic rapper made things sour between him and Taylor by humiliating her on stage, and then years later, writing a song about having sex with her and calling her a bitch. After Taylor cut off ties with West and his then-wife Kim Kardashian, she has only seen success while West went on to lose his entire career because of his antisemitism and hate speech.
While both the stars’ feud went on, celebrities chose sides with some supporting Swift and condemning Kanye’s actions, while others supported Kanye and called Swift a ‘liar’. In a turn of events, one of Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriends made a speech about Kanye West and proceeded to call him a hero.

He starts by saying, “The fact that we didn’t get nominated for a Grammy was a f–king outrage,” to the crowd, as the 2024 Grammy nominations recently rolled in and the band didn’t get nominated for any award.
He then talks about Kanye and says, “I’m not being self-celebratory, but Kanye is one of my heroes. You know what? You’ve got to f–king believe in yourself.”
Matty then puts aside Kanye’s antisemitic remarks and says, “I believe that’s an awkward hero to have right now, I understand that. But separate the antisemitism. Just think about the self belief.”

Taylor Swift And Matty Healy’s Relationship
After her breakup with Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift had a rebound with Matty Healy as the couple was seen hanging out and going on dates. Initially, Swift was a guest artist for one of The 1975’s concerts where she sang ‘Anti Hero’ for the first time.
Talking about the relationship, a source revealed, “She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn’t work out. Taylor and Joe actually split up back in February, so there was absolutely no crossover. Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.”
Then in May, Matty went all the way to Nashville to support her on one of her concerts. The couple had a number of dates and meets till it was revealed later that their relationship didn’t make it too far. The reason behind their breakup wasn’t revealed, though many speculated it might have to do with Matty’s problematic behavior.
