Doja Cat got into a war of words with her fandom on Threads by Meta. When a fan asked her to declare her love for her fans called ‘Kittenz,’ she wrote, “My fans don’t name themselves shit. If you call yourself a ‘Kitten’ or fucking ‘Kittenz, that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.”
The name ‘Kittenz’ allegedly originated in 2013 with Doja Cat’s lyrics on ‘Give It Up.’ The ‘Hot Pink’ artist’s stage name is also the reason for the moniker. When another fan asked her for a replacement name, the rapper wrote, “Just delete the entire account and rethink everything it’s never too late.” Due to this, many of her stan accounts, like The Kittens Room and Doja Cat News, have been deactivated.

Some Fans Speculate It Is Her Alter Ego Speaking
Doja Cat introduced her new alter ego ‘Scarlet’ with the new single titled ‘Attention.’ A fan has speculated that this must be a PR gig for her new upcoming album, and it is Scarlet instead of Doja Cat speaking.
The fan wrote, “Doja does love us, but she is now playing the role of Scarlet; they are two different characters … she doesn’t hate us, but Scarlet does since she’s evil.”
Doja Cat is also receiving flak for her new rumored beau, Jeffrey Cyrus. The rapper was spotted with the online streamer in November 2022 in New York City. In June 2023, the rumored couple was spotted kissing on a yacht in Los Cabos, Mexico.
