All the characters in the show suited their roles with perfectly fitted dresses altered for their body only. No wonder ‘Bridgerton‘ served as a Regency drama with a modern touch to it.
Jonathan Bailey aka Lord Anthony Bridgerton gets candid about the characters in the show. His sexual appeal gained a lot of light from the public and now he says that the sole motive of characters in the show was to “turn people on”.

Jonathan Bailey On Not Being A Heartthrob Before His Role In ‘Bridgerton‘
‘Bridgerton’ characters did capture our hearts with their amazing performances and different personas. The 36-year-old character, Jonathan Bailey during an interview with The Guardian said that the characters were made to turn on the people.
“It’s Bridgerton, I think,” he said. “These characters have been created to serve a purpose, to turn people on, I suppose” the actor continued. Moreover, Bailey doesn’t consider himself as the heartthrob in Regency era roles, but look at him now.
It’s the ‘Bridgerton‘ magic that he’s now a potential heartthrob of many. Furthermore, he also talked about his LGBTQ series called ‘Fellow Travelers’, where he plays the role of a gay man who’s hiding his sexuality. Talking about his work, Bailey says that sex is very important during the making of his series.
Bailey said, “If you’re going to explore the oppression – and these people lost their lives, their jobs, their families – then the other side of that is the extreme need for connection, but also the celebration of the sexual act that supposedly deems them ‘unacceptable’.”

Season 3 Of ‘Bridgerton’: What To Expect
The third season of the one the most expected show is back. Fans are eagerly waiting for the third season of the show and it’s supposed to focus on the love angle of Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton).
During the early two seasons, Penelope was an underdog and used to work as Lady Whistledown behind the doors. Now as her identity is revealed, her character seems to have developed with confidence.
The following season is going to serve to all the ‘Pollins’ supporters. Penelope returns as a new independent woman in London and cannot wait to express her love for Collin which is something new and exciting.
Season 3 of the show is going to come out in 2 parts four episodes, with Part 1 premiering on May 16, and Part 2 arriving a month later on June 13.
