Anne Heche has been struggling for her life ever since she met with a horrific car accident. The ‘Psycho‘ actress’ fans have been praying for her life since her car crashed on August 5. Now there have been a lot of rumors circulating around her condition. Some fake reports even declared her dead. But none of them were substantiated.
A recent source has however confirmed that the 53-year-old actress was under the influence of cocaine and possibly fentanyl at the time of her horrifying car crash last Friday. This might explain how and why the crash took place as Anne doesn’t have a history of rash driving.

Anne Heche Was Under Cocaine Influence During Her Car Crash
According to a TMZ report, the 53-year-old actress was allegedly under the influence of cocaine and probably fentanyl when the car crash took place. The Los Angeles Police Department sources confirmed that Anne’s blood test results came up positive for both substances.
But the law officials have said that fentanyl may have been given to her at the hospital to help manage her pain after the accident. So more testing will be done before drawing any conclusions.
The ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ actress was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of driving. She was involved in two car crashes in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. The actress’ condition has been dire.
Anne Heche Is ‘Not Expected To Survive’
Anne’s condition has not improved since her admission to the hospital. The actress had rammed her blue Mini Cooper into a woman’s LA home, which ignited a massive fire.
Heche who suffered a brain injury has slipped into a coma. New reports suggest that she is comatose with a “severe anoxic brain injury” and is “not expected to survive.”
A statement claimed, “It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she’s being kept on life support to determine if any are viable.”
“More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life’s work, especially moving the needle for acceptance of who you love. She will be remembered for her courageous honesty and dearly missed for her light,” the statement added.
Anne has starred in a number of films like ‘Donnie Brasco’, ‘Return to Paradise’ and she also won a Daytime Emmy Award. In the 1990s, she dated Ellen DeGeneres.
