Beyoncé Announces New Album ‘Renaissance’: All You Need To Know

Beyoncé is set to release her new album. The American singer, songwriter, and actress who rose to prominence as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child, is the highest-earning black singer of all time, as per Billboard.

    Beyoncé To Release New Album

The much-anticipated album ‘Renaissance’ will be released on July 29. The announcement sent shockwaves through social media overnight. It was announced via a tweet by Tidal – the music streaming service that Queen Bey’s husband, Jay-Z, helped launch in 2015.

Fans noticed that the 40-year-old singer’s social media channels had been wiped clean. The images were taken from her YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok profiles last week, implying that she was preparing to launch a new era.

Last year, the 28-time Grammy winner hinted at new music in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, stating, “I feel a renaissance emerging,” which was a clue to the album’s title. With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again,” she told the magazine at the time. “I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible.”

Beyoncé Feels “Love, Passion And Healing” In The Recording Studio

Beyoncé talked about her creative process briefly, adding that her albums take a long time to complete. “Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion and healing that I feel in the recording studio,” she added.

“After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was 9 years old. Yes, the music is coming.”

In 2019, she released ‘Homecoming’ – a concept album that gave fans a behind-the-scenes pass to her iconic headlining Coachella set. She went on to appear on the soundtrack for Disney’s latest take on ‘The Lion King’. In 2020, she launched a new visual album called ‘The Lion King: The Gift‘, which was inspired by the tale of the film.

Beyoncé’s discography also includes ‘Dangerously in Love’ from 2003, ‘B’Day’ from 2006, and her self-titled album from 2013.
