Addison Rae, the 21-year-old social media personality and sensation, has come under fire over her new Christianity-themed bikini set, released by Praying in collaboration with Adidas. Netizens have expressed their disapproval of the TikTok star and her bikini set ad and have called it a ‘blasphemous act.’
The notions of religious sentiments and respectability dominated Rae’s comments section on Twitter. Many people didn’t like how the bikini was boldly depicting Christian values and Jesus.

Addison Rae And The ‘Holy Trinity’ Bikini Set
Addison Rae shared the picture of herself in the ‘Holy Trinity Bikini‘ on Instagram. The full set was not visible as the picture only included Addison’s upper body. The top of the bikini set had the words ‘Father’ and ‘Son’ printed on each side, while the bottom read ‘Holy Spirit.’ The bikini set soon became scandalous as people were appalled over the disrespect of Christianity and Jesus.
Rae’s friends shared words of appreciation for her post. Photographer Mark ‘The Cobrasnake’ Hunter called the picture a “home run.” Singer Tate McRae commented, “oh my god Addision.” However, another bunch of comments was not so pleasant. One read, “Nah this disrespectful to Jesus. Sad what y’all do for money,” while a social media user commented in bold words, “This is not okay! BLASPHEMY!” Comments like “Is nobody gonna talk about this disrespecting religions,” also surfaced under her Instagram post.

The Christian community was offended by such a turn of things. One continuous and repetitive word which kept surfacing on Twitter was ‘blasphemy.’
