Amidst all the chaos on Twitter, Elon Musk is concerned about the Twitter poll about Donald Trump being hijacked by bots. The social media platform has been facing so many setbacks after the new boss took over. From massive layoffs to mass resignations, the revenue drop experienced by Twitter is as never seen before.
Between all these crises the Tesla CEO is on a mission to track down all the bots and troll armies that are trying to increase the Donald Trump poll vote on Twitter. The billionaire is focused on the Donald Trump Twitter poll that he posted on Friday. And he has been carefully looking at the way the polls are working. Here’s more about it.

Bots Trying To Hijack The Twitter Polls
The “Reinstate former President Trump” poll posted by the Twitter CEO on Friday has had 11 million responses till Saturday. In the poll, the users get to vote yes or no. Of the total users who voted, 52.3 % want the former US President to return to the platform. Now the crazy part is that the poll was drawing a million answers every hour.
“Fascinating to watch Twitter Trump poll!” the new boss had commented on Saturday morning. But he did not speak about his decision of whether to let in Musk or not.
With the understanding that the poll votes are the work of bots, Musk has tweeted that he would take needed precautions in future Twitter polls.

Musk Reinstating Accounts
With the idea of freedom of speech, Musk has started to reinstate some of the banned accounts. This includes the accounts of author Jordon Peterson, kickboxer Andrew Tate, and comedian Kathy Griffin. “New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach. Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted and demonetized, so no ads or other revenue to Twitter. You won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from the rest of the Internet,” Musk had said earlier.
This is when the question came up of whether Donald Trump should be given another chance. The politician’s account was removed from Twitter back in 2020. He had a whooping 88 million followers on Twitter before the ban. It was Trump’s role in the last year’s attack on the US Capitol by a mob of his followers seeking to overturn the results of the 2020 election, that caused his ban. However, Trump has informed that he would remain in his own networks rather than return to the social media platform.
