Elon Musk always remains in the news for one reason or another. Over the past few months, his name has been attached to social media giant Twitter. After months of legal battle, he bought the company for $44 billion last year. What followed has been nothing short of a drama series.
Recently, it has been reported that the 51-year-old billionaire is getting sued by some of the former Twitter executives. This news comes amidst the company ending the legacy badges on the platform. So let us find out why his former employees are taking legal action against him.

Elon Musk Once Again Lands In Legal Trouble
Parag Agrawal, the former Twitter CEO, along with former general counsel and the former finance chief of the company have filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk-owned Twitter.
According to Yahoo, the lawsuit, which was filed on April 10, is seeking over $1 million in form of legal expenses which they had to bear while working for Twitter. All these executives were fired by Musk in October after he took over.
In their lawsuit, the former execs have stated that they have not received reimbursement from the company. Before the acquisition, Musk had a very public fight with Parag over the issue of bots and fake accounts on the platform. Apart from the top executives, Musk also fired nearly half of the workforce.

Twitter Has Been Merged With X Corp
Earlier this month, the court documents of a lawyer filed in a California court revealed that Twitter “no longer exists” and is now called X Corp. Right after it went public, Musk wrote ‘X‘ on Twitter.
In March, Twitter merged with a shell company called X Corp which “is a privately held corporation, incorporated in Nevada, and with its principal place of business in San Francisco, California“.
Musk has been planning to create an app that provides all kinds of features like social networking, payments, and messaging. Based on the Chinese app WeChat, Musk’s “super app” is currently under development.
