Elon Musk has never really gone off the news and it seems unlikely to happen anytime soon. Recently, the Tesla tycoon got into another controversy regarding his personal life. It was reported that Musk had welcomed twins with one of his top executives last year.
After the news went viral, Musk responded to it in his own way. The father of nine is certainly not shying away from speaking about the “underpopulation crisis” and how he is helping the cause.

Elon Musk Is Doing His “Best To Help The Underpopulation Crisis”
On Wednesday, Business Insider’s report claimed Musk and Shivon Zilis welcomed twins in November 2021. Zilis is the director of operations and special projects at the Musk-owned company Neuralink. The outlet also gave confirmation regarding the court documents on the matter.
Following this, the Space X honcho tweeted, among other musings, that he’s doing his “best to help the underpopulation crisis.” He also claimed that “a collapsing birth rate is the bigger danger civilization faces by far” before sending a message to his critics saying, “I hope you have big families and congrats to those who already do!”

The reports also put some light on the fact that Musk and Zilis filed paperwork in court back in April to change the twins’ names. They wanted to reflect their last names as part of their middle name. A judge in Austin, Texas, reportedly changed the name of the twins, although their names are still in dark.
Elon Musk’s Big Family
Elon Musk is already a father of nine. He shares 18-year-old twins, Vivian and Griffin, as well as 16-year-old triplets, Kai, Saxon, and Damian, with ex-wife Justine Musk. The couple tied the knot in 2000. The marriage lasted for 8 years. She also gave birth to Nevada but, due to infant death syndrome, he took his last breath after only 10 weeks of his birth.
On the other hand, just weeks after welcoming twins with Zilis, Musk became a father again. The entrepreneur and singer Grimes welcomed their second child, via surrogate, back in December. They also share a son, whom they welcomed in 2020. Their relationship didn’t last long after the birth of their second child.
Musk has always been concerned about birth rates. Back in May, he tweeted a Wall Street Journal chart, citing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) concerning the steep decline in fertility rate. His tweet read, “USA birth rate has been below min sustainable levels for ~50 years.”
He followed up that tweet by saying, “Contrary to what many think, the richer someone is, the fewer kids they have. I am a rare exception. Most people I know have zero or one kid.”
