Twitter Will Remove Accounts With Infrequent Usage
Recently, the social media giant announced that they will be removing all the accounts from the platform that haven’t done a log-in in 30 days. By doing this, the platform will be decluttered from inactive accounts.
Musk elaborated on this in a tweet, “We’re purging accounts that have had no activity at all for several years, so you will probably see follower count drop.” In a separate tweet, he stated that those accounts will be archived.
Lately, Musk has been receiving a lot of flak from people for the unequal distribution of verified badges on the platform. Some celebrities have been given free blue tick marks without them paying for those badges.
