After a short appearance in Disney+ ‘Hawk Eye’, Echo is now getting a series based on her name. The Disney+ project is currently shooting principal photography. What makes it more interesting is that Maya Lopez will be reportedly joined by Daredevil and Kingpin in the upcoming series. Fans are quite aware of the fact that Kingpin is the common villain ruling the screen against both of these characters.
Both Daredevil, who is sightless, and Maya, who is mute and deaf, share a connection as both have overcome their disabilities and established themselves as heroes in Marvel. ‘Echo’ will bring a different excitement as the fans are anticipating to see how the three comes under a single frame. The Fan Art Brings The Trio Together
Marvel has not yet confirmed the casting for the upcoming series ‘Echo’ but that couldn’t stop the fans from working on their imaginations. A dedicated Marvel fan has recently made a teaser poster for the series.
The poster features Alaqua Cox’s Lopez in a comic accurate look standing at the center. Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) are decorating the sides of Lopez in the poster. Though D’Onofrio’s villain looks just as he did in the Netflix series ‘Daredevil,’ and the Man Without Fear shows up in his darker Shadowland costume.

Disney has dropped its synopsis regarding the upcoming show ‘Echo’: “The origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.”
What Does Echo Has To Say Regarding Her Role?
“It’s just so crazy that I’m getting my own show after Hawkeye. That was like my first acting role, ever,” Cox previously said of her MCU role. “I don’t know why they’re giving me this opportunity, but I’m just grateful. I’m excited for the support and being able to advocate for the Deaf community. We want to have that equality and get more people involved. I’m just so grateful for all of the opportunities I’ve been given.”
She continued, “It’s crazy how much my life has already changed because I was a college dropout. I worked at a factory. I’m so excited to show people who I am and what I can do, what anybody can do.”
