Tom Mann, a former X-Factor competitor who featured on the ITV singing competition in 2014, took to social media to share the devastating news of his fiancée’s death. Danielle Hampson, the singer and songwriter died on the day of their wedding, and the couple’s family is mourning her loss.
Emotional notes were posted on Instagram by Tom when he learned of the terrible news. It said, “I can’t believe I am writing these words but my darling Dani – my best friend, my everything and more, the love of my life – passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning, 18th June.”

X-Factor Star Tom Mann Is Devastated By The Heartbreaking News
Dani Mann, the fiancée of X-Factor artist Tom Mann, sadly died on their marriage day. The couple has a son who is eight months old. On what should have been the greatest day of their lives, he wrote in a heartbreaking message that he’d lost the “love of his life.”
“It was the nicest thing that could have happened to me,” Tom said of his fiancée. He promised to wear his engagement ring as an expression of his undying devotion to her. He intends to be a single parent for his son and wants to teach him to be proud of his mother.
Sharing His Feelings And Pain With The World, Tom said He Will Raise His Infant Son as Single Father
As a means of expressing the depth of his despair and grief, he wrote, “I am completely broken trying to process this and I honestly don’t know where to go from here, but I do know I need to use any strength I can muster for our little boy. I will not be a mark on the parent that you had already become but I promise I will do my everything to raise Bowie just the way we always wanted. I promise you he will know how amazing his mummy was. I promise to make you so so proud.”

He described Dani as an “Incredible soul” at the end of the conversation. The caption of the post read, “The most beautiful person inside and out. The most incredible soul. We have lost such a special person and I am sure we are about to see an abundant outpouring of love that reflects that.”
The caption continued, “I will try to find peace in your messages and comments, but right now I am grieving and I will be for a very, very long time. My darling Dani, the brightest light in any room, my world is nothing but darkness without you. I will miss you forever.”
