Pride Month is celebrated in June every year and it is a commemoration of LGBTQ pride. It was a result of the Stonewall riots which were also called the gay liberation protests during the 60s. There are many celebrities who have supported this celebration of LGBTQ community and Miriam Margolyes is one of them.
The actress even posed nude for British Vogue, reflecting on her life as a gay woman who is unapologetic about her choices. The picture is related to Pride Month and it is now trending on social media.

Miriam Margolyes Speaks On Her Nude Pictures
Margolyes posed for various shoots for British Vogue’s Pride Issue and in one of the pictures she is sitting in front of a table and does not wear any clothes but a pearl necklace with pearl stud earrings. Meanwhile, orange pieces and walnut cake were giving a shield to her breasts which were on the table.
Recently Margolyes stated in an interview that she hates her body. She also said, “I hate big tits [and I have] a drooping belly, little twisted legs. I’m not thrilled with that. But you just make the best of it. You have to. You do the best you can.”
Margoyles spoke on her parents’ reaction towards her being a lesbian. However, she has been in a relationship with her partner Heather for around 54 years. They are working in London and Amsterdam.
“I never had any shame about being gay or anything really,” she told the outlet. “I knew it wasn’t criminal because it was me. I couldn’t be criminal.” Margoyles said that although she portrayed Professor Sprout in ‘Harry Potter‘, it was not so important for her as she never considered it as Charles Dickens.

Miriam Margolyes is a British-Australian actress. She started her career as a voice artist. She made her debut in acting by being featured in Kenneth Williams and Ted Ray in 1974. She entered into her filming career with the British comedy film, A Nice Girl Like Me.
She also appeared in several projects which include ‘Reds’, ‘Yentl’, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, ‘Little Dorrit’, ‘Romeo + Juliet’, ‘Being Julia’, and many more are there. Margolyes is also famous for the role of Professor Sprout from ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets‘ which was released in 2002.
