    “Increasingly Intrusive”- Joe Alwyn Opens Up On Why He Keeps Relationship With Taylor Swift Private

    Taylor and Joe, both try to keep their romantic relationship private and away from the limelight. The star couple never spoke publicly about their personal lives and prefers to keep a hush-hush affair. However, British actor, Joe Alwyn unfolded in a recent interview that due to the “increasingly intrusive” culture that surrounds them, he keeps his relationship with the Blank Space star concealed.

    Alwyn and Swift met in 2016 and started dating each other since then. Over the years, their love grew stronger, and both value the much-needed privacy when it comes to their romance.

    In a recent interview, The Favourite star, Joe explained that the reason behind him keeping his relationship with Taylor Swift a private matter is not a choice. Alwyn said that he does not want to be “guarded and private” about his love for the Fearless singer, Taylor Swift. Because of the “increasingly intrusive” culture around them, forces the couple to keep their romance secret.

    Alwyn explained, “It is not really [as I] want to be guarded and private, it is more a response to something else. We love in a culture that is so increasingly intrusive. The more you give and frankly, even if you don’t give it, something will be taken.”

    The actor will feature in the upcoming Hulu series that will premier on May 15. The Hulu series, Conversation With Friends is based on a famous novel penned by Sally Rooney, an Irish author. The actor made it clear during the interview that he is “obviously happy” with Taylor Swift.

    As per sources, Taylor and Joe first met at the MET Gala in 2016; and are seeing each other after their first meeting. Swift is famous for writing songs about her love interests, and in the same way, she dedicated the song Dress from her album Reputation to their first meeting.

    “Flashback to when you met me, your buzzed cut and my hair bleached”, the line from her song Dress hints at their respective appearances on the evening when they met. It’s been more than four years, that Swift and Alwyn are dating each other. As per sources, Taylor has dedicated many songs to the Operation Finale star.

    Both have the same interests as they have co-produced many tracks together, such as Exile, This Is Me Trying, August, Betty, and one more from the 2020 album Folklore. Another album for which they collaborated was Evermore in 2020. The Folklore album helped the couple in winning Grammy Award for the Album of the Year in 2021. Taylor said that her relationship with Joe is “very grounded.”

    The 32-year-old singer said that being in a relationship with Joe transformed her life into a “real” one and not “commented on in tabloids.”
