How Did Sinead O’Connor Die?
On July 26, 2023, the renowned Irish singer and activist passed away at the age of 56. Police discovered her unconscious in her South London home. The officials claimed at the time that they did not consider her death to be suspicious, even though the cause wasn’t immediately revealed.
In January of this year, coroners subsequently verified that O’Connor had passed away from natural causes. The Grammy winner’s death certificate has now been cited by the Irish Independent, revealing that her causes of death were asthma and chronic obstructive lung disease.
In July 2023 when she died, O’Connor’s death was specifically attributed in the certificate to “exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma together with low grade lower respiratory tract infection.” According to the outlet, her ex husband John Reynolds officially recorded her death in Lambeth, London.
