Is The Career Of Kanye West Over After WLM Controversy?
The ‘Donda‘ rapper sparked controversy by appearing in a ‘White Lives matter’ shirt right before the Yeezy fashion show on Monday in Paris. So is it all over for Ye in fashion?
According to Page Six, fashion insiders are divided over his after he sent models down the runway wearing those same t-shirts at Paris Fashion Week. “It’s a wrap. People were disgusted and outraged,” one insider said.
Another person said, “if you have money, you’ll never be canceled.” Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson called the design “indefensible behavior” which led West to attack her on social media.
“Gabby is pretty great, so people are coalescing around his comments about her. No one’s really talking about the t-shirt anymore,” a source said. Vogue also issued a statement saying she “was personally targeted and bullied. It is unacceptable… in a private meeting with Ye [on Tuesday] she once again spoke her truth in a way she felt best, on her terms.”

Gigi Hadid Came In Defense Of Gabriella Karefa-Johnson
Fashion editor and stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson was in attendance when Kanye appeared wearing a WLM t-shirt at Paris Fashion Week.
She spoke about the incident via social media which led West to share her pictures and attack her. He claimed that Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour would hate her boots. Ye also shared a screenshot of a text from someone who asked him not to “insult that writer”.
Gigi Hadid, a close friend of Gabriella, came out in her defense. She commented, “You wish u had a percentage of her intellect.” She also added, “You have no idea haha…. If there’s actually a point to any of your s— she might be the only person that could save u.
Hadid continued, “As if the “honor” of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion ..? Lol. You’re a bully and a joke.” Ye then went on to attack Hadid as well.
