Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk sat down with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss Tesla’s future in India. Musk, who recently met leaders from France and China, is looking to find more locations outside the US. Speaking to the media about the sit-down, the Tesla CEO said he’s a massive fan of the Prime Minister.
Former Twitter CEO also accepted Narendra Modi’s invitation to visit India next year, hoping to find adequate real estate for production factories. Both hope to foster personal and professional relationships beneficial for India and the US. Musk also hinted at bringing Starlink as part of the deal.
Elon Musk Meets Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi To Discuss Investment Opportunities
Elon Musk met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the first leg of his three-day visit to the US. Elon Musk and Narendra Modi met in 2015 when the Indian leader visited Tesla’s factory in California. The Tesla CEO also discussed the possibility of him investing in India as a production center for his automobile venture.
Besides Tesla, Elon Musk hinted at bringing Starlink to India. He said, “The Starlink Internet, which I think can be incredibly helpful for sort of remote or rural villages where they perhaps either may have no access to the Internet or the Internet is very expensive and slow.”
Indian Narendra Modi tweeted about the meeting with the Tesla CEO thanking him for a productive and stimulating conversation, ” Great meeting you today @elonmusk! We had multifaceted conversations on issues ranging from energy to spirituality.” Elon Musk expressed his gratitude and replied, ” It was an honor to meet again.”

Elon Musk’s Plans For Global Business Expansion
Elon Musk has been meeting world leaders and business people foin the last two months r potential future collaborations. The Tesla CEO recently met French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss the “attractiveness of France” for Tesla investment. The meeting went well as Musk announced his intentions to make future investments.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO also met with Chinese government officials while visiting his Tesla plant in Shanghai. Musk said he looks forward to taking forward his business dealing with China, describing the leading world economies, China and the United States Of America, as “conjoined twins.”
