Businessman and former President of the United States of America, Donald Trump has had several partners in his life. He has been married three times and has fathered five children in total.
Ivana Trump, his first wife, and mother of three of his eldest children including Ivanka passed away on Thursday. She was 73 years old and breathed her last at her home in New York City. The cause of her death is unknown.
Donald Trump’s First Wife Ivana Passed Away
Ex-President of the United States Donald Trump’s first wife and mother of his three eldest children Ivana Trump passed away at the age of 73. Trump informed on Thursday via his social media platform Truth Social and wrote: “Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” without mentioning the cause of death.”
He further added, “She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!”
Her son, Eric Trump, also shared her picture on Instagram and wrote: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Ivana Trump. Our mother was an incredible woman — a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend. Ivana Trump was a survivor.”

He continued, “She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children and ten grandchildren.”
Ivana, who was a model, had tied the knot with the then budding real estate developer Donald Trump in 1977. The two shared three children, first child Donald Jr., was born later that year. Ivanka was born in 1981 and Eric in 1984. The couple divorced in 1992.
The Relationship Between Ivana And Donald Trump
Ivana Trump, also known as Ivana Zelníčková, had grown under communist rule in former Czechoslovakia. Her relationship with Trump was one of the high-profile marriages in the 1980s and got a lot of media attention.
The couple was known for their luxurious and extravagant lifestyle. As Trump’s real estate business grew, Ivana took a series of key roles in his business.
Their relationship went sideways after Ivana realized that Donald had been cheating on her with actress Marla Maples.
After her divorce from Trump, Ivana went on to have her own successful entrepreneurship career. She launched her own line of brands in clothing, jewelry, and beauty products as well as penning several books.
