Jacquemus’ latest runway show has left the fans feeling enchanted. Those who attended it in person got to treat their eyes to a divine runway. The Fall 2022 collection was unveiled amid the giant mounds of salt in Camargue, France.
Yet again, Jacquemus and mother nature united to create a picturesque runway backdrop. The fashion label has already delighted fans with some scenic and little-known locales doubling up as runway platforms including a blooming lavender field in the South of France, a wheat field in the countryside outside Paris, and, most recently beachside in Hawai’i.

All About The Stunning Runway Show
“In terms of the color palette, the coed collection, titled ‘Le Papier’, couldn’t have veered further away from the vivid, sunny, tropical hues of that last outing”, an audience member said.
“The last collections were very Pop,” designer Simon Porte Jacquemus wrote in his Instagram story and added, “I now go back to something more poetic.”
Mostly, white and flat garments dominated the show, from which the collection got its name. Although few other neutrals and pale blues and greens were spotted as well. But the pale theme in no way affected visual interest or the striking beauty. The dessert was on fire as the collection itself was typical Jacquemus, with a sort of “Mad Max” bridal twist.
Wait! That’s Not All
The runway show in the dessert setting had a unique post-apocalyptic war-like touch – all thanks to gorp-y vests, anoraks, cargo pockets, utility belts, backpacks, and mesh head coverings alongside organic-looking fabrics with ragged edges. These very practical clothing were contrasted with more fine decorative details which included large poofs of tulle, opera-length gloves, trains of fabric, and, of course, all the white dominance.
Even a bunch of sexy Jacquemus signatures were in store for the runway. Bra tops, bare midriffs, diagonal cardigans, and diaphanous dresses and skirts were beautifully constructed and gave the inkling that the wind might blow them away at any moment. The event will surely reach the pinnacle of success as it holds a unique mixture of elegance and nature.
