‘Joker: Folie Á Deux’ Is A Musical
In June 2022, Todd Philips confirmed a sequel was in development. He co-wrote the script with Scott Silver which is a musical. Lady Gaga was cast as Harley Quinn, a psychiatrist who becomes emotionally embroiled with Joker.
‘Joker: Folie Á Deux‘ is set in Arkham Asylum. Hence, it would make sense for Arthur to come across Harley Quinn. Arthur is a disturbed individual with a warped sense of reality. His delusions are likely to result in musical sequences in the movie.
Zazie Beetz will reprise her role as Sophie Domond. Additionally, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey are cast in undisclosed roles. During the press tour for ‘The Banshees Of Inisherin,’ Brendan Gleeson spoke of his admiration for ‘Joker.’
