Kate Mara took to Instagram to share the happy news in a striking manner. She posted a picture of herself and her husband Jamie Bell together where they were seen holding hands. The caption was a major giveaway with which she announced her pregnancy. She wrote, “There are three of us in this pic.”
The ‘House Of Cards’ can be seen wearing a short pink dress with silver embellishments and carrying a black leather jacket in the photo. Her husband Bell looked stylish in a black suit.
The couple’s celebrity friends congratulated them in the comments section. “Congratulations!” wrote Andrew Rannells, while MJ Rodriguez commented, “Omg congratulations cutie.” Jenna Dewan added, “Awwww congratulations loves!!!!,” and Octavia Spencer wrote, “Congratulations!!!”
Kate On Suffering A Miscarriage Before The Birth Of Her Daughter
Kate Mara talked about suffering a miscarriage before getting pregnant with her daughter on Dr. Berlin’s ‘Informed Pregnancy’ podcast. It was the first time she was expecting. The actress explained that she had a blighted ovum, which occurs “when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the uterine wall, but the embryo does not develop.”
“The waiting was the worst part,” she explained then. “Everything took so much time, so by the time it was all over, I mean, I had been pregnant for three months or something, even though I wasn’t really pregnant. It just dragged out forever.”
She talked about the loss and her feelings when she found out she was pregnant with her daughter: “It was weird, this bitter or sweet sort of … I was so excited, but also sad that we weren’t as excited as we were the first time, because that was clear that it was a very different dynamic.”
Jamie Bell was earlier married to Evan Rachel Wood, with whom he shares an 8-year-old son, Jack Matfin Bell.
