Beware, Bill Maher! There’s an army of people who are not taking any nonsense about the comedic masterpiece ‘Barbie.‘ Comedian and talk show host got on X to give the billion-dollar film a harsh review, calling it “man-hating” and creating a sense of faux feminism. But Mark Ronson wasn’t having it.
Mark Ronson, too, took to his social media to defend the film. The Grammy-winning musician, who also contributed to the film’s soundtrack, teased the comedian with a highly sarcastic post. It goes on to show you can communicate your point without being dismissive.
Mark Ronson Trolls Bill Maher’s Radical Review Of Barbie
Earlier this week, Bill Maher took to X to share his review of ‘Barbie.’ Nobody expected him to be lenient, but the film bothered him to the extent he called it “preachy” and “man-hating”. He also made harsh remarks about the film’s idea of feminism, which he thought was outdated.
OK, "Barbie": I was hoping it wouldn't be preachy, man-hating, and a #ZombieLie – alas, it was all three. What is a Zombie Lie? Something that never was true, but certain people refuse to stop saying it (tax cuts for the rich increase revenues, e.g.); OR something that USED to be…

Mark Ronson, who’s worked on the film’s music, took it upon himself to teach Bill Maher a lesson. He called out the political commentator’s misplaced anger and pointed to the film’s joyous movie-going experience with his post.
‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ hitmaker posted, “We come to this place for magic. We come to AMC theaters to laugh, to cry, to care… and to furiously google ‘Mattel board configuration’ while others are trying to enjoy a f***king magnificent comedy.”

Marc Maron Sounds Off On ‘Barbie’ Hating “Insecure Babies”
Comedian and podcaster Marc Maron also showed love and support for ‘Barbie.’ Before heading off into the interview section of his podcast, he bit into men who have failed to understand the irony behind the film. He calls these people “insecure babies” and laughs at them for having no sense of humor about the film.
Marc Maron said, “The fact that certain men took offense, is so embarrassing for them. I mean, so embarrassing for them, Any dude who can’t take those hits in that movie, they’ve really gotta look in their pants and decide what they’re made of. I mean, Jesus Christ, what a bunch of f***ing insecure babies.”
